In many cases, TCEP will discover companies that operate in fragmented industries with opportunities for consolidation. While we may be searching in a wide variety of industry sectors, our primary objective is to acquire platform companies and make additional acquisitions in that industry sector. In many cases, we will search for businesses in adjacent industry sectors that have common customers and/or synergies.

Acquired eight regional hearing care centers and opened four new locations in adjacent markets. Many of these centers were underperforming or at breakeven from a profitability standpoint. The centers were re-branded, revamped the marketing/sales programs, added new products and stabilized operations.
Exited the consolidated operations for a 7.5X return on invested capital.
Confidential HPD
Acquired a home products distributor with a retail subsidiary that was underperforming from a margin perspective. Drastically changed the product offerings at lower cost, right sized operations, increased sales and improved company gross margin percentage by twenty percent.
Exited the business for a 4.5X return on invested capital.

Principal in an IT Services Company that was sold to a consolidator.
